Saheco: leaders in quality sliding door hardware
Saheco is a leading company in the design, manufacture and sale of high-quality interior sliding, folding and hinged door hardware and systems for all types of applications. Their business is focused on maximising the potential of a space with a wide range of systems that can be adapted to any architectural environment.
Quality is an integral element of their corporate culture, thanks to the implementation of their own specific equipment for industrial activities, manufacturing 100% of products in Spain.
For over 50 years now, they have been committed to innovation through value-added, unique and patentable products that meet maximum industrial efficiency standards. A combination of creativity, quality, design, architectural integration and ease of assembly.
Going digital
Saheco is fully aware that doors are a complex construction element, so, together with Bimetica, they have developed BIM objects for the main sliding door systems in Revit®, IFC and CAD format.
Their aim is to facilitate the visualisation of projects in 3D, to help improve control over processes, materials and costs, to virtually experience the construction environment during the design phase, and to verify all technical data prior to installation. In short, to optimise resources and increase efficiency.
22 objects in BIM format
In collaboration with Bimetica, Saheco’s main products are now available in BIM format:
Features adaptable to each project
One of the main advantages of Saheco’s products are the different installation variants offered by each of them: wall, ceiling or false ceiling. When converted into BIM objects, it is easy to digitally adapt each system to the type of assembly.
Likewise, all Saheco families are parametric, meaning that each user can modify the height, width, distance from the wall and door opening.
This customisation allows the user to adjust each system to meet the technical requirements of each installation. The parameters that can be customised in each family are:
- Dimensions
Door Height
Door Width
Panel Thickness (Door)
- Finishes
Colour
Panel material
- Closure type
x1 Shock absorber + x1 Retainer
x1 Double shock absorber
x2 Brake retainer
- Door opening

The BIM Certificate as a Guarantee of our commitment
All Saheco BIM files comply with the BIM Quality Certificate, which guarantees that they have been developed with Revit 2021 Software in English and Spanish.
The objects respect Intellectual Property Rights, contain optimal graphical data (usable in LOD environments of 100 to 500) and comply with the Data Structure and Traceability required in a BIM project, in accordance with the BIM Object Development Standard (GDO-BIM).
GDO-BIM standard
SAHECO’s BIM Library has been entirely developed in accordance with the GDO-BIM Standard, which is the most widespread BIM Object development model guide and the most widely used by manufacturers.
At Saheco, we are aware that projects are made up of a large number of BIM objects, from different products and companies. It is therefore essential to unify criteria and parameters so that all files have a common language.
The GDO-BIM Standard is a free and open worldwide standard that is offered as a guide for the development of BIM Libraries. It is the standard that best represents this philosophy of collaborative work and is the most popular with manufacturing companies.
Traceability and importance of BIM Object information
SAHECO’s BIM files contain a data structure that allows the traceability of information by phases. Being developed with the GDO-BIM Standard, the parameter structure provides guidance criteria on the usability of the objects at any given time, in relation to the useful information to be provided to the project.
This traceability is also adaptable according to the information needs of the various agents involved in the construction project, and is also adapted to respond to the different software programs used in the design, execution and maintenance phases.
Data Traceability Scheme
Traceability allows the product to be better adapted to the project, making the digital prescription easier and more useful for the professional and the property.
