Sika is strengthening its role as a system integrator in industrialised construction with the campaign “We bring the process together. We drive change”
- Sika demonstrates its ability to integrate key solutions that bring together the industrialised construction process: design, manufacturing and execution
- The combination of industrialisation and refurbishment is establishing itself as the key strategy for increasing the sector’s production capacity.
- “Industrialisation is not an option; it is the only way to address the structural challenge facing the housing sector in Spain,” says Sika’s CEO, Gonzalo Causin.
Madrid, 24 March 2026.– At REBUILD 2026, Sika has unveiled its new campaign “We unite the process, we drive change”, a natural evolution of “The Industrialised Revolution” launched last year, with which the company takes a further step in positioning itself as a key player in the transformation of the construction model.
The launch comes at a time marked by a structural housing shortage in Spain and the need to boost productivity in the sector. In light of this situation, Sika is committed to industrialised construction as the most effective way to address these challenges.
“We need a fundamental shift in the way we approach building design, and at present, industrialisation is the best way forward. This transformation is not optional, but essential to meet the housing challenge,” says Gonzalo Causin, Managing Director of Sika in Spain.
With this new campaign, the company is evolving its message: from promoting industrialisation as a concept to consolidating its role as an integrator capable of connecting all phases of the construction process. Under the slogan “We unite the process. We drive change”, Sika proposes a model in which design, manufacturing and execution are coordinated, improving the efficiency, quality and control of projects.
This approach responds to a structural need within the sector: to overcome the traditional fragmentation of construction and move towards a more collaborative, industrialised and sustainable model.
In this context, Sika stands out for its ability to integrate solutions and support the client throughout the entire project cycle, from the design phase to on-site execution, acting as a leading technology partner. This support translates into a specialised technical service, in which engineers and experts develop tailored solutions that improve the profitability, efficiency and sustainability of each project.
As a partner in innovation, Sika brings global expertise that enables manufacturers to accelerate production processes, reduce their carbon footprint and increase the durability of materials and buildings, thereby extending their service life. The company offers a comprehensive solution ranging from the optimisation of factory processes—using technologies that enable automation and robotisation—to specific solutions for on-site assembly.
From foundations to roofing, Sika provides the sector with bespoke solutions at every stage: bonding technologies that enhance safety and offer greater design freedom; acoustic insulation systems to reduce vibrations and improve comfort; solutions for protection against climatic, chemical and environmental factors; and structural reinforcement systems that increase the load-bearing capacity and durability of buildings.
This approach is complemented by a comprehensive vision of sustainability, which operates on two fronts: optimising production processes to reduce environmental impact and developing innovative materials that deliver greater efficiency, comfort, health and durability throughout the building’s entire life cycle.
As explained by Vanesa Álvarez, KAM Modular at Sika, this approach translates into “factory optimisation through the automation and robotisation of processes, greater innovation in materials and integration from the early stages of design”, which allows solutions to be adapted to each building type and improves the overall efficiency of the project.
Furthermore, the company highlights the complementary role of refurbishment in addressing the housing shortage, through solutions that improve the energy efficiency, durability and sustainability of the existing building stock.
Currently, industrialised construction accounts for between 1% and 2% of the sector in Spain, although its growth is exponential and could reach 10% by 2030, establishing itself as a strategic solution to increase production capacity and meet the growing demand for housing.
This trajectory enables Sika to act today as a technology partner capable of integrating solutions and supporting all stakeholders—designers, engineering firms, developers, construction companies and architects—facilitating the transition towards a new construction paradigm.
In the same vein, Daniel Vallespín, director of Sika’s Industry Division, emphasises that “construction and industrialisation go hand in hand, which is why technical support throughout the entire project cycle—from design to execution—is crucial”. In this regard, he emphasises that the company has over 40 years’ experience in industrial processes: “long before industrialisation reached the construction sector, we were already working on process optimisation in industries such as the automotive sector and advanced manufacturing”.
With “We unite the process. We drive change”, Sika reinforces its positioning not only as a solutions provider, but as an integrator of the construction process. As Gonzalo Causin concludes, “the challenge is no longer just to build more homes, but to do so in a completely different, smarter way”.
