- The event, which will take place on 24, 25 and 26 March at IFEMA (Madrid), aims to showcase the latest trends in the sector.
- The company will have a stand in the exhibition area (8E569) highlighting Sika’s ability to integrate all phases of the construction process, resulting in a robust, high-quality system.
- SIKA will also take part in the National Congress on Advanced Architecture and Construction 4.0, as a speaker at various sessions and round-table discussions.
Madrid, 17 March 2026.– Industrialised construction is beginning to grow in Spain, and although growth in recent years has not been particularly marked, the sector’s forecasts are on the rise. It is expected to account for 10% of all new builds by 2030.
The need to expand the supply of available housing and the challenges of energy efficiency and decarbonisation in construction are driving the growth of this sector, which benefits from a specific funding scheme through the PERTE for the Industrialisation of Housing.
This is the context for Rebuild 2026, the International Innovation Fair for Construction, which this year focuses on industrialised construction. With the slogan “Powering The Future of The Building” as its central theme, the event will bring together all stakeholders in the value chain, offering an open and constructive debate through which to advance the implementation of industrialisation in the sector.
Once again, Sika is renewing its partnership as a Global Partner of the fair, thereby demonstrating its commitment to this construction model set to revolutionise the building sector. At this edition, the company will continue the work begun in 2025 with the “The Industrialised Revolution” campaign. With extensive experience and knowledge in optimising industrial processes, Sika is leading this transformation towards more efficient and high-quality construction.
“We are firmly committed to the transformation of the sector. Our company is driving the Industrialised Revolution, putting at the sector’s disposal our extensive experience in other fields where industrialisation is already a reality, and developing specific solutions tailored to the needs and challenges of each project”, explains Borja Moya, Marketing Director at Sika.
Sika’s proposal for Rebuild 2026 is structured around the slogan “We unite the process. We drive change”, through which the company aims to demonstrate its ability to connect design, manufacturing and on-site execution as a robust system.
“Sika positions itself as the element that makes the system viable. By integrating solutions and technical expertise, the brand acts as the catalyst that sets the wheels of industrialised construction in motion,” states Moya.
This concept is reflected in Sika’s extensive exhibition area at the fair. Here, the three phases of the process (design, manufacturing and on-site execution) will be showcased, always connected and united through the company’s experience and extensive portfolio of solutions. In addition, professionals visiting the stand (8E569) will also be able to discover KLAVE (Knowledge, Leadership And Value Excellence), the new technical specification model, which serves as a comprehensive support for building, industrial and infrastructure projects.
A visual and interactive presentation that will showcase the company’s commitment, from foundations to roof, to leading the market for solutions for industrialised construction.
Furthermore, as part of Rebuild 2026, the National Congress on Advanced Architecture and Construction 4.0 will take place, the industry’s largest forum for knowledge and trends, featuring a unique programme of conferences and bringing together over 700 international experts. The company, which is sponsoring the main auditorium (Main Auditorium Sika), will participate in the congress by taking part in various sessions and round tables: “For Sika, the aim at REBUILD is to show how what the company brings together—phases, solutions and technology—is what drives change in the sector’s structure”, concludes Borja Moya.
- On Tuesday 24 March, Vanesa Álvarez, Head of Industrialised Construction at Sika Spain, will moderate the roundtable Leadership in the industrialised process, featuring representatives from the Avintia Group, the architectural firm Cano y Escario, and the Regional Ministry of Housing of the Community of Madrid.
- On the same day, at 5.15 pm, the Sika Main Auditorium will host the session Achieving Decarbonised and Circular Processes and Products: The New Waste Cycles, where the VALDESC initiative will be unveiled, with Cristina Valverde, R&D Concrete Laboratory Manager at Sika, in attendance.
- On the 25th, Ana Arenas, Sika’s Head of Sustainability, will take part in the session How sustainable is industrialisation?, which will discuss circularity, recycling and low-emission materials.
